Our Vision

The vision of The Potter’s House Christian Church in Fairfield is to fulfill Jesus’ Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20  “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Our aim is to Reach this City

As a church we are constantly endeavouring to reach unsaved and unchurched people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We preach and teach the bible spread the message of God’s love and grace for humanity. Using various outreach tools, our aim is to lead people into a relationship with our Saviour Jesus Christ .

Matthew 28:19 (NKJV) states’Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.’ Our fellowship is founded upon ordinary men and women following the call of God and doing extraordinary works for him.

Church Planting

Our fellowships is built on couples being released into the ministry to pioneer a work for christ in our communities and throughout the world. Every year we hold two bible conferences, our national conference in Perth and a regional conference in September. These are times of a collective gathering in which we release and launch couples into the harvest field.

Church Membership

At the Potters House we value church membership.  Here are the basic requirements for membership which is commitment to the local church:

  1. There’s a commitment to God.  You’re affirming that you are indeed a Christian who is desiring to follow Jesus, and you’ve been baptised to publicly show your allegiance to Him.
  2. You’re committed to the mission of The Potters House.  You know our mission statement and you are playing an active part in reaching this city.  This means you’re serving somewhere and you’re financially supporting the church.
  3. You are committed to growing in your faith.  No matter how long you’ve been a Christian, there are still steps you can take to become more like Christ.  As a member, you’re acknowledging that you’re taking an active role in the discipleship process – either through participation in a Connect Group or by personal, spiritual disciplines.
